School Rules and Regulations

To maintain discipline, decorum, and a conducive learning environment, all students are expected to adhere to the following school rules:

General Discipline:

  1. Punctuality:
    Students must arrive at school on time. Late arrivals disrupt the learning environment and may result in disciplinary actions.

  2. Attendance:
    Regular attendance is essential for academic progress. Absence without prior notice or valid reason will be considered as a violation of school rules.

  3. Respect for Others:
    Students must show respect to teachers, staff, and fellow students at all times. Bullying, fighting, or any form of disrespect will not be tolerated.

  4. Language:
    The use of polite and respectful language is mandatory. Abusive or inappropriate language will lead to disciplinary action.

Dress Code:

  1. Uniform:
    All students must wear the prescribed school uniform neatly and with pride. The uniform should be clean and well-maintained at all times.

  2. Personal Hygiene:
    Students should maintain personal hygiene. Hair must be neat and trimmed, and nails should be clean and trimmed. Girls are expected to tie their hair neatly.

Classroom Conduct:

  1. Attention and Participation:
    Students are expected to actively participate in classroom activities and pay attention to the teacher at all times.

  2. Respect for Property:
    Students should handle school property (books, furniture, equipment) with care. Any damage will be liable for a fine or replacement.

  3. Electronic Devices:
    Mobile phones and other electronic gadgets are strictly prohibited in classrooms unless permitted for educational purposes by the teacher.

Extra-Curricular Activities:

  1. Participation:
    All students are encouraged to participate in sports, arts, and cultural activities. These are essential for personal development and team spirit.

  2. Behavior During Events:
    Students are expected to exhibit exemplary behavior during school events, sports days, and field trips. Misconduct will lead to suspension from activities.

Safety and Security:

  1. Safety Rules:
    Students should always follow safety guidelines, especially in laboratories, sports activities, and on field trips. Always follow the instructions given by the teacher or staff.

  2. Movement within School:
    Students should not leave the school premises during school hours without prior permission from the authorities.

  3. Food:
    Eating inside the classrooms is prohibited. Students must use designated areas such as the canteen or specific eating zones.

Communication with Parents:

  1. Parent-Teacher Meetings:
    Parents are encouraged to attend parent-teacher meetings held regularly to discuss the student’s progress. Failure to attend can hinder communication regarding your child’s development.

  2. Leave Application:
    Any request for leave should be submitted in writing by the parents or guardians. Long absences require a formal medical certificate.

Disciplinary Actions:

Failure to follow school rules may lead to various consequences, such as warnings, suspension, or in extreme cases, expulsion. The school authorities will always strive to handle disciplinary matters with fairness and care.
